CHICHESTER FESTIVAL THEATRE at Home: FACING THE MUSIC
A MUSICAL SPRING IS COMING!
Chichester Festival Theatre is delighted to announce that this Spring will be one of music, memories and fascinating stories as we launch a new digital series of our popular Facing The Music interviews.
The line-up features: much-loved performer Patricia Routledge, whose career at Chichester spans five decades; Giles Terera, whose extensive musical credits include winning the 2018 Olivier Award for his performance as Aaron Burr in Hamilton; the multi award-winning Imelda Staunton, whose Olivier-winning performances in Sweeney Todd and Gypsy at Chichester later transferred to the West End; and Philip Quast, who appeared in the original London production of Sondheim’s Sunday in the Park with George and is internationally renowned for his performance as Javert in Les Misérables. Alongside these, we’ll be celebrating Sheila Hancock’s recent Damehood by offering you another chance to see her Facing The Music event, originally shown in November.
They all join writer and broadcaster Edward Seckerson to discuss their lives in musical theatre, illustrated by some treasured recordings. The interviews will be streamed in February and March.
