Bonnie Langford, leading lady of musical theatre, shares her love and admiration for those who have literally led the way. Those ladies who have blazed a trail through musical theatre and more.

A magical evening celebrating stars including Dame Angela Lansbury, Gwen Verdon, Chita Rivera, Petula Clark, Julia McKenzie as well as characters from musicals such as Cats, Gypsy, Sweet Charity, Chicago and more.

With her own career spanning over fifty years, Bonnie has cherry picked a few of her most cherished backstage moments and reflections, some old, some new. Remembering the Leading ladies who have touched her life and sprinkled it with that magical star quality, Bonnie shares songs and stories, along with personal tributes to those we have lost and those who still shine brightly.

A unique, intimate and joyful evening accompanied by Anthony England at the piano.

Bonnie will be in conversation with Edward Seckerson after her opening show for one night only on Monday 3rd June.

 

Bonnie Langford made her theatre debut in the West End at the tender age of seven in Gone with the Wind at the Theatre Royal, Drury Lane. Followed by ‘Baby June’ in Gypsy opposite Angela Lansbury at the Piccadilly Theatre, a highly successful run on Broadway and a Drama Desk Award nomination.
